My first article for www.brendacarescorner.com

Hello fellow readers! My name is Gabriel DaSilva (Gabe) and I am a huge fan of Blackberry.  I am 26 years young (yes young) and I love to do many things.  I am a musician at heart.  I sing R&B, Soul, Jazz, and Gospel.  I love to listen to all types of music.  Aside from that I love technology and gadgets.  I plan on starting school in the fall majoring in Business and possibly a Minor in IT.  I am a big fan of brendacarescorner.com. Although I never met Brenda, I’ve known her for well over a year now, when she created BBMania.  Brenda, I must say that you have done such an amazing job with your website and I know that you must have lots more planned so I encourage you to keep up the great work.  God has blessed you greatly with your talents.  Thank You for giving me the opportunity to share my Blackberry knowledge and I am very excited to be writing about something that I love truly.   I was told that if you love something, or someone no matter what it is, then you should share it with the world. I started using blackberry back in 2002.  My first blackberry was the 7290, and I literally owned every AT&T model with the exception of the Pearl.  I always knew that I was addicted to my blackberry but it wasn’t until a couple of days ago that not only I realized I was badly addicted but my District Manager noticed it as well.  It was my second day alone at my new job and I was explaining to Justin, (my DM) about how much I loved cell phones, wireless gadgets, and especially all things Blackberry.  I had my Bold 9000 charging by the computer, so because I was on the computer I wanted to check and see if I got any new notifications.  I pushed the trackball and nothing happened, and that was when I noticed that the red LED wasn’t blinking.  It was just a solid red light.  I started to panic.  It wasn’t until it kept rebooting and half way through that it would shut itself off and repeat the process over and over again, that I started to sweat and panic even more.  Justin couldn’t help noticing me sweating so much that he asked me if I was ok.  I explained to him about the blackberry rebooting repeatedly and that’s when he said, “WOW BRO, YOU’RE REALLY THAT ADDICTED HUH”?  After an hour my Bold was back to normal.  It was really weird.  After 2 days, I noticed that my Bold kept doing this process everyday.  So I decided to get another Blackberry because not only I need a new one, but I needed to set up my employee plan.  I purchased a Curve 8520 from AT&T and I really like it.  I used to have the Bold 9700 when it first came out and I must say that I do miss the smoothness of the trackpad.  Now that I am gonna be using the 8520, I will be working on the 9000 during my spare time.  I will be switching out the trackball, and doing as much as a possibly can.   This Bold will be a great project.  Until next time…
